L'air du Temps

Beneath this colourful exterior is much mystery.
We can weave what we wish from this amazing piece of ART.
We can aromatise our senses to overload and still be left wanting for more. I especially like how you have left the outline of pencil and built a collage of flowers and splashes of colour to give her substance. They say that "The eyes are the window to the soul" and her eyes are unlike any I have seen, so much beauty and yet devoid of emotion, letting us believe she is who-ever we want her to be.
The flowers framing her face give her a Spring-like essence, and I guess that is who she is to me, the giver of Spring, of freshness and vibrance of colour, the scent of lillies and tangerine, of blue skies and cool mid-afternoon breezes, I can smell it now, the subtle aroma of life. To think that this magnificent work has made me feel all this...........
That is the beauty of art and it takes a true artist such as yourself and your collaborator <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/s/n/s…" alt="" title="snowmask"/> to be able to transform a painting into inspiration to a poet like myself.
