This image is pure and simply "Classic archanN"! Always a master of composition and style, the color choices always evoke emotions on almost a primal level. The shapes conveyed within this piece emanate intelligence and purpose, and action implying a dramatic scenario. At first viewing, my immediate impression was "Sgt.Peppers meets Jacque Cousteau". As I sat with the piece and allowed it to tell it's story, I walked away with a feeling that I had witnessed an intimate scene of spirituality imposing its ever present hand upon the tapestry of Nature. Often evoking thoughts of community and oceanic ecosystems. Mostly evoking a childlike sense of awe and wonder at the wonderful, fireworks-like display bursting with free flowing color and artistic intent. Bravo!
I really love your pieces they are all vibrant and creative. The colors really contrast greatly against one another. The use of blue as your background color really ties in well with the concept of it being an ocean. The stingray as your focal point is very interesting because it is as if it is flying into the paint. The use of other marine life is interesting as well and really do add to the life of the piece, as well as the color.
A slight thing that bothers me is that all of the action is concentrated into one area, which leaves some of the other areas barren, such as the bottom left of the piece. Maybe you could add something else there to fill the void, so that the entire piece can be balanced in terms of activity.
Overall, I think this piece is great and would look spectacular as a wall print. Keep up the awesome work Archan.
