So another illustration from this artist. Archan's work is the definition of vibrant loud colours that reminds you of summer, spices and music. You just want to dance when you see his work. It is very vibrant and energetic. Obviously, I like classic cars and the ambassador resembles a fiat that I once owned ages ago. I was a student at uni then and the memories are all good. I really like Archan's work and its energy. I specially like the two dancing ladies and the steel rims. Thank you for such a lovely colourful piece that lightened up my day.
I still love the Ambassador Car.. and you use it in wonderful way...Vibrant use of colors and shapes... nice composition.. everything is nice.. but dont know something is missing...something new... something like related oldies car can add it here. Well nice work again.
thanks! but don't want to make it so cliched you know. i mean, if the theme or focus is a vintage car, i dont like to have elements which are vintage. it needs to be more over the top, surreal or psychedellic.
I agree on your point of view... and my point of view was not vintage cars... after viewing your artwork, i thought there should be some oldies things of that times.. i mean that was time of 50's - 60's when ambassador was launched.. and it could be anything cars, architecture, people or etc ... and Trust me your artwork is really wonderful... as i told earlier. I only share my thoughts... and my vision.
Thankyou once again. I really like that you are discussing what you are feeling. and discussions lead to a lot of more new directions, so thankyou! well, oh... but when i was in the process of doing the artwork, i did not have the vintage india in mind, neither its elements. ofcourse the car is now kinda vintage, but when i was making it, it was purely based on the modern times, keeping the environment slightly retro, so obviously i didnt intend that
